I’ve struggled with Generalized Anxiety Disorder my whole life, but it was at an all-time high when I developed adult asthma and allergies a few years ago. My therapist recommended that I try breathing exercises on a regular basis, but it wasn’t enough to do them on my own so I started taking beginner yoga with Beth. I’ve learned the basics, and have been taking yoga weekly ever since. My asthma symptoms and anxiety have subsided to almost non-existent. I’ve also noticed a positive change with my focus and concentration, as well as endurance.

Before attending the group I did not have a regular yoga practice; however, since the group I have been doing yoga 4-5x per week...I found it to be a good small size and Beth worked really hard to make sure we felt safe and to do whatever she could to address our needs. Yoga has been more beneficial to me than individual therapy, DBT, or anything else I have tried. I haven’t experienced dissociation in over a month. Yoga has saved my life.
